For over 10 years, the Minerva Foundation for BC Women (Minerva) has been a leading not-for-profit dedicated to inspiring and empowering motivated women. Minerva provides women with the opportunity to explore and develop their potential by creating opportunities and offering programs through trusted partnerships in the areas of leadership skills, connectivity and education.
The retirement of the incumbent has created a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial individual to join Minerva and build on its many successes. Accountable to the Board of Directors for providing leadership to all aspects of this province-wide foundation, as CEO you will be responsible for achieving strategic, financial, and fundraising objectives and representing Minerva as the public face of the organization. With an operating budget in excess of $1 million, you will lead a small team and inspire stakeholders, providing leadership and vision to more than 250 dedicated volunteers.
As the ideal candidate, you are an inspirational and hands-on leader with a track record that successfully combines business and not-for-profit experience. You will bring superior relationship skills, an innovative approach, and the inspirational vision to build on Minerva’s programming, and revenue development goals.
